Dhofar hosts a high diversity of birdlife throughout the year, with Arabian endemics, Asian and African species and migrants.

Tours can be tailored to cover mountains, coast and/or wetland habitats and the best time to visit is between October and April, the Khareef season is between June and September.

Regional endemics such as Arabian Partridge, Arabian Sunbird, Yemen Serin and Arabian Green Bee-eater; African species such as African Paradise Flycatcher, Abdim's Stork, Bruce’s Green Pigeon and Grey-headed Kingfisher.

Raptors such as Verreaux's Eagle (highest chances in March-May), Steppe Eagle, Arabian Scops Owl and Arabian Eagle-Owl.
